Ja’Marr Chase griddys on ice while visiting Montreal Canadiens
A new video from the Montreal Canadiens took Cincinnati Bengals stars Ja’Marr Chase and Chase Brown off the field and onto the ice.
The NHL team treated Chase and Brown to a tour of its facilities in a video posted to YouTube on Wednesday. Fans also got a glimpse of the wide receiver and running back’s visit in an Instagram teaser.
“This feels so good on my hands, though. Man I love how this feels,” Chase said while carrying a Canadiens hockey stick.
The full YouTube video shows the Bengals players perusing the team’s locker room and taste testing Canadian cuisine (spoiler alert: Chase likes poutine. He said it tastes like hash browns).
The NFL players even tried their hand at some hockey, albeit with minimal success, and Chase, of course, did the griddy, a popular touchdown dance started by his friend Allen Davis, on the ice.
To finish off their excursion, Chase and Brown signed a Bengals jersey for Canadiens right wing and Bengals super fan Brendan Gallagher.
