A Société de transport de Montréal bus careened into three parked vehicles and two terrasses on Monkland Ave. Wednesday afternoon as the bus driver suffered a medical episode, Montreal police said.
It was a “miracle” that more people were not hurt, Jean-Pierre Brabant, a police spokesperson, told The Gazette.
The crash led to minor injuries for the driver and two passengers, Brabant said. They were taken to a hospital.
The collision occurred around 2:45 p.m. between Harvard and Oxford avenues, forcing the temporary closure of that stretch of Monkland.
The street has since reopened, while the bus and damaged vehicles have also been towed.
