Despite a recent admission that the 2004 death of his girlfriend, Kelly-Anne Drummond, was not an accident, the man who killed her with a knife in their Pierrefonds apartment has been denied parole again on his life sentence.
In a decision made earlier this week, the Parole Board of Canada denied full parole for Martin Morin-Cousineau, 52.
Drummond, 24, was killed on Oct. 3, 2024, and Morin-Cousineau underwent a trial by jury at the Montreal courthouse. On April 10, 2006, the jury revealed it did not believe his claims that her death was an accident and found him guilty of second-degree murder.
